Dynaflex Gutter & Narrow Seam Sealant is an easy to use, single-component, high performance elastomeric sealant that forms a tough, watertight seal to stop and prevent leaks in small joints and narrow seams in gutter and flashing applications. It is extremely durable and permanently flexible to stand up to weather and temperature extremes without cracking or losing adhesion. It can be applied in all types of weather conditions, such as cold/high temperatures, wet surfaces and even through standing water. It has strong multi-surface adhesion to most common gutter, flashing and roofing materials. It offers excellent workability and improved productivity with its easy to apply formula, smooth tooling, low odor and fast rain ready and cure times.
Apply when surface temperature is between 20°F and 120°F. For exterior use only.
Proper Surface Preparation
Surface should be clean and free of old sealant, dirt and other contamination.
Measure Gap Depth
Gap depth should be no larger than 1/2" deep for optimal adhesion.
For Best Results
Gutter runs should not exceed 50 feet, to limit the effects of thermal expansion due to temperature changes. Not recommended for continuous underwater use, high temperature surfaces or for surface defects. Store below 80°F in a dry place.
Dynaflex Gutter & Narrow Seam is much easier to gun out than competitive solvent sealants, is less stringy, has low odor versus strong solvent-like odors, and comes in easier-to-use packaging that won’t get damaged by rain or transit.
How does it improve productivity?
Dynaflex Gutter & Narrow Seam Sealant saves time because it can be applied in adverse weather conditions, so there's no need to wait for a break in the weather to apply. It’s rain ready and paint ready in just 30 minutes. It also fully cures in 24 hours vs 7-14 days like some other sealants, allowing the product to reach its maximum performance faster.
Is it mold and mildew resistant?
Yes, when fully cured, the product is mold and mildew resistant.
Is Dynaflex Gutter & Narrow Seam Sealant non-sagging?
Yes, Dynaflex Gutter & Narrow Seam Sealant is ideal for both horizontal and vertical applications. It has just the right balance of non-sag and semi-self-leveling characteristics so that it won’t sag in a vertical joint, yet fills narrow horizontal seams without having to tool.
