DAP PLASTIC WOOD Epoxy Filler is a premium 2-component epoxy specially formulated for superior wood restoration. This versatile filler is weatherproof and waterproof, making it ideal for both interior and exterior applications. Its sag- resistant formula ensures easy use on vertical, horizontal, and overhead surfaces, and it adheres reliably to wet or damp wood, as well as underwater. Its high resistance to shrinking and cracking, DAP PLASTIC WOOD Epoxy Filler provides high anchor strength for nails and screws. Its extended working time of 20 minutes allows for precise molding and shaping, making it perfect for rebuilding damaged wood sections. Once fully cured, it can be machine sanded, planed, cut, drilled, screwed, and nailed. It is also paintable and can be built up to repair rotted wood surfaces, fix cracks and splits, and prevent future damage.

The Dap Plastic wood repair kit saves on repairs and time Involved, but has to be down with the right steps and times, this product can be tuff on the pros can be hassle for the normal person. Wish they could make something that is all ready to go., the fish is kind of hard to smooth out once dry so its recommended to smooth much as you can for easy sanding.

Dap Natural Plastic Wood Rot Repair Kit is a really really awesome product! I as a hobby like to refurbish and up-cycle furniture and give them a new life! Wood rot is a problem in a lot of older furniture that people discard and usually I have to cut out and replace. This wood rot kit from Dap has been a game changer and has save me a lot of labor hours on a few pieces of furniture so far. Super easy process of applying the wood harder to the rotted area and let it dry. It basically pauses the rotted area from further falling apart once it hardens. The then you squirt in the epoxy filler and shape it to what form you need and let it dry. Once dry it sands and it paintable just like the surrounding wood. Like I said if you have non structural wood rot issues this is and awesome product that will save you tons of time with fantastic results!

Great to repair old broken, cracked or weakened wood instead of replacing it. It can also be applied to damp wood. It is effective and so much cheaper yet works the same way! Great for indoor or outdoor wood structures. Start off by applying the hardener on impacted area with a paint brush. Once dry, apply epoxy filler to the impacted area and let it sit to dry.

Legitimately great repair kit. I consider myself lucky for only having to use it once before. I have 50 year old built ins and there was a hidden corner that had rotted away. Was able to get in there and rebuild the shape with this kit and it cured surprisingly quickly. Not too terrible on the cleanup if you mind how you use it and the odor is tolerable
