100% silicone rubber sealant that is a one-component chemically-curing material ideal for sealing in commercial kitchens and is approved for food-zone areas. Certified by NSF to NSF/ANSI Standard #51, it is safe for incidental food contact. When cured and washed, the product meets FDA Reg 21, CFR 177.2600. It provides a durable, waterproof seal with minimal shrinkage. It offers long-lasting flexibility and excellent adhesion. Once cured, it is unaffected by temperature extremes (-40°F to 400°F). Cured sealant is mildew resistant and is for interior use.

This came at such an opportune time, literally 4 days before it came my sun started leaking. I didn’t know from where, but after watching a YouTube video I felt confident enough to rip out all the caulk and recaulk it with this. It didn’t stink, it was easy to clean up, and I love the way it looks now. I will use this for other projects around the house, I see if being very versatile.

I recently redid my kitchen and added all new cabinets and trim. I used DAP caulk to finish my trim seems and crown edges. It’s so easy to apply and smooth when skimmed out. It is easy to clean and holds it shape and adheres to the wall and cabinets great. I even applied to the tile around my stove too. So it holds up well to the heat.
I even applied it to the underside of my countertop and resists food orders in my pantry.

Product was perfect for a touch-up job needed around a light fixture. Will work well on multi projects. Has no odor. Easy to work with. The texture is smooth and applies seamlessly. It is affordable, and because only a little is needed, it will last!

I first would like to note that I received this product complimentary for my honest review. That being said, the “DAP Commercial Kitchen 100% Silicone” sealant worked as expected. It went on easily and I didn’t note any shrinkage the next day. The only downside is the smell, which is a little stronger than some of the silicone sealants I have used, and the fact that it’s used in the kitchen can be a bit off putting. It took a couple of days for the smell to dissipate. It’s also not paintable so be mindful of where you use this and if you care if it matches or not. Other than that, it works and I like it.

I used this silicone to repair a lot of work around the house. It applied smoothly and quickly without a lasting odor that some other brands have. The day I used it the family had no trouble with the smell of the silicone. The price is way more affordable than some others I have purchased in the past a different buy again product.

He used it to update the kitchen and bathroom areas so far it's been very durable and versatile and easy to use overall does not catch any odors and drives over free which has been great. I have been using it around the kitchen and it's been pretty waterproof and heat resistant as well which is great

This worked well. We used it on the sink and it really sealed well. Yes we had to wait a day before able to use the sink but it was well worth it. It wasn't overly scented and works great for kitchen even bathroom projects.

We installed a stainless steel sink, had to cut out a little bit more of the countertop for it to fit. Ended up having just a small exposed corner, rather than the expense to getting brand new countertop, we just used the Dap silicone, perfect, cannot tell there is any silicone filling the gap, so we just went ahead and went all the way around the sink, just in case there are tiny gaps we did not see. I cook every day and always plenty of dishes to be washed, so far the sealant had held up very well, no signs of water seeping under the silicone, clean up on it is easy, even with greasy food stains. It does have a vinegary smell to it when first dispensed, but dissapates quickly. We are remodeling little by little and I can see where this product will come in handy on many projects where water either from inside or outside will be involved.
