Fast dry time with NO cracks

We decided to put an outlet in a closet. So we had to cut a piece of drywall out to add the outlet. After doing so we used this to put the drywall back. We will clean this up but for as thick as my husband put it on I cannot believe that it did not crack. After we clean this up I don't know if we will need another coat or not but the product went on very easy, was smooth to work with and has dried quite nicely. I have used several DAP products in the past and really appreciate their quality.

When it comes to dap fast dry formula it's just as easy as it sounds! Dap it on the wall and watch it dry fast easy like 1-2-3! Literally will be dry around 15 minutes. I did not need my bf to help me with this. Hehe

Really great for larger holes

I had several holes through-out my house associated with a previously installed security system installed by the previous owner that I removed. Some were sensors that were higher up and and others were light switch level holes from number pads that were installed. I had put off remodeling my laundry room due to some of these holes, but thanks to DAP Fast Dry Premium Spackling, I am now ready to move forward and remodel.

Spectacular Spackling

The reason for that title is that in some cases you do not have a lot of time to complete a job before you have to move on to do other things. For example in my case, we were trying clean up some scuffs, dents, holes in walls to paint. This product dries with a quickness, easy to use and strong. Like it says you apply, sand it and paint it, it is that quick. Great product, would definitely recommend it.

A Spackle that Works

DAP sent me a kit to try their Fast Dry Premium Spackling. I had a variety of projects to use it on - everything from dingged walls to cracks in drywall joints (the house has settled over the years). I used it and it really is a fast dry compound. I found it easy to apply - it was a tad on the dry side compared to other spackle I have used in the past. It goes on with minimal effort and sticks well. The putty knife was also a snap to clean up after use. At the end of the project, the walls looked as good as new and were able to be painted the same day/time. This was cool since I didn't have to move the ladder to back and paint after it dried - i could simply leave it there and paint within 15-20 minutes of application. A great project helper!

Easy To Use

My daughter just turned 18 and wanted to redo her room. So, all the posters, tapestries, taped paper, etc. had to come down. Left so many holes and tears in the walls. This spackle went on smooth and dried super fast. About 15 minutes and it was ready to paint. We waited about an hour. It is the same color as drywall. Very little sanding was needed after it dried and you couldn't see it through the paint once that was dry. Now that her room is done, time to use it on the hallway and living room. (next project).

Dap Fast Dry Premium Spackling

I was excited to receive my sample of Dap Fast Dry Premium Spackling. I should have laid a mat underneath as it did get my floor quite messy. Besides the mess it was easy to apply, and left a nice smooth finish. Drying within 15mins, so quick you could paint and finish the product in 30 minutes. I would recommend this project if you're in a hurry to patch up that unsightly hole.

Great stuff, Ideal for

What can you say...this stuff works! Whether you have a small hole to fill or a larger area to fix, this spackling can get it done. I filled a larger whole I had, applied as smooth as possible. After about 15 minutes it was dry and ready to lightly sand. A little sanding, wiped clean, made sure it was totally dry and painted and the hole was as good as new. I would recommend this spackling to anyone that needs to fix large and small holes in drywall!

This DAP fast dry worked incredibly well! I am getting ready to sell my house and need to do several small to mid-sized drywall repairs. This product was very easy to work with. Unlike other drywall spackle, it doesn't sink too badly into the hole or crack. It does dry fast so you need to work sort of quickly. But, it's also easy to sand and paint. Perfect for small/mid-size jobs around the house that need to be done fast and well!

Convenient drywall repair product

My husband and I built our home in 2015 and since then have experienced various cracks forming in the ceiling and walls due to "settling". We had put off doing any sort of touch ups or repairs so this product came in handy! We were easily able to fill in/cover cracks without it being terribly noticeable. The product was easy to apply, dried fairly quickly and we were able to paint the spots the very same day!

This product is fantastic! It covers completely, dries quickly, and is easy to paint over. We had several holes in our walls from picture hooks that need to be covered. The spackling covered the holes completely the first time. It dried within minutes and we were able to paint over the spots. We were able to get the job done within one afternoon and begin repainting our rooms.

I received this product free for review from bzzagent but all thoughts are my own. I had been looking for a product to use to fill some holes in my kitchen and this product worked fantastic. It dried super quick and was very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this product for small hole repair jobs and I will definitely be purchasing again in the future.

DAP Fast Dry Premium Spackling Really Works!

I had some damage to the sheet rock on my staircase leading to my basement when I tried to move some exercise equipment upstairs. Some of the damage was quite deep, with gouges approximately half an inch thick. I received the DAP Fast Dry Premium Spackling for my Bzz Kit, and I gave it a try on my basement staircase. It applied evenly with a plastic putty knife. Some spackling I've used in the past came out really "pasty" and clumped when applying, then pulled out of the crevices when smoothing it out with my putty knife. However, this DAP product stayed in place and easily penetrated the cracks in the drywall. The best part was the drying time. Within 15 minutes or so, it was completely dry and ready for touch-up painting. Other putties I've used in the past took much longer to dry, making for a long home repair. All told, with the spackling and painting, I was finished within an hour. I couldn't be happier with the results!

Went on quick and easy, has held up great so far and did indeed seem to dry pretty quick. Pretty thick and heavy duty, looked like a good solid quality spackling, using it to patch up some spots in the house before staging it to sell and its seeming to be holding up good, very happy with the result considering it came from a free bzzagent free sample.

I really like this fast drying spackling. When they say fast drying, it really is fast drying so you do need to act quick and don't get distracted with other things while using this. Once dry, it sanded out very smooth and I was able to paint over it. If you are buying a new home and need to fix some holes in the walls, well here is your product!

Quick Drying and Fast Working

Opened the product up and it looked like some sort of play dough at first. Once I grabbed a piece it felt like chalk but after applying it to several punctures in the drywall, it works amazingly well. I imagine it would be ready in 15 minutes to be painted (I waited 20 on my first use just to make sure) and it worked great. Highly recommend.

I have children. Four of them to be exact. Our house shows it with gaping holes and scratches in the drywall that I've been staring at for years. Along comes this product. "Ideal for Large Drywall Repairs" you don't say... Works like a charm, dry's fast, sands out smooth, paints up nice. I couldn't ask for a better product for my money.

When you read about this at first most people would think it does not dry that fast. Well I am here to tell you it really does take no time and your work is dry to be painted. The smell of it did not bother me like other products I have used which was a major thumbs up for me. This product was the best I have used.

This Dap Fast Dry Premium Spackling works great. I used it in a large hole that was in my dry wall. It's easy to use. It fills the hole nicely and it dries pretty quickly. I was able to paint over it with no problem. This is a great product.

I used this product on the huge cracking of our house from the builders mistake. It dries quicker then expected so the label is correct by saying "fast dry". I would buy this product again. I reccomend it also.

I loved trying Dap spackling. It was perfect for filling tiny cracks and larger cracks. I liked the texture as it was easy to work with and apply. The product dried fast and the end results were great.
