DESCRIPTION
Plastic Wood-X Repair Kit All Purpose Wood Filler with DryDex Dry Time Indicator features the 8-ounce wood filler putty, a 2" putty knife and a sanding block. The putty is a premium, latex-based filler designed to repair cracks, gouges, and holes in wood surfaces like furniture, molding, cabinets, and doors. The unique DryDex dry time indicator goes on pink and dries to a natural wood color for a seamless repair. This thick, knife-grade formula can be molded and sculpted, making it ideal for corners and vertical surfaces. Once dry, it can be sanded, cut, drilled, nailed, and painted or stained for a perfect finish. Shrink, crack, and crumble-resistant, it provides strong nail and screw anchoring. The low odor, water-cleanup formula is suitable for both interior and exterior use, offering a long-lasting, durable solution for all wood repairs.

How to Use
Allow to Dry
Allow to dry approximately 2-6 hours shallow repairs and 36 hours for deeper fills. Plastic Wood-X will change from pink to natural when dry.
Apply in Layers for Gouges and Damage Deeper than 1/4"
For gouges and damage deeper than 1/4", apply wood filler in layers and let each layer dry before applying the next.
Apply Masking Tape Around Damage
Apply masking tape around damage before filling to keep a clean surface around the repair and limit sanding afterwards.
Interior and Exterior Applications
Plastic Wood All Purpose and Plastic Wood-X can be used for both interior and exterior wood repairs. Make sure to paint or coat exterior wood repairs for long-term durability.
Overfill the Repair Slightly
Overfill the repair slightly when applying the wood filler so you can sand it down to a smooth, flat finish when dry.
