As indicated on the product package label and supporting product literature: "sealant applies white and dries clear in 7-14 days (depending on joint depth, temperature and humidity). All of DAP's (CLEAR) acrylic-latex (water-based) sealants will function this way and are labeled accordingly with the information found above, regarding this color changing performance characteristic. Please note that full clarity is only achieved once all of the water contained within the product has evaporated.

Most acrylic latex caulks can be painted approximately 2 hours after application (depending on joint depth, temperature and humidity), clear acrylic and latex caulks should be allowed to turn completely clear before painting. Please reference the product label for specific recommended dry time.
