DESCRIPTION
DAP BLOCKADE is a high-performance, water-based intumescent acrylic firestop sealant that meets ASTM E814/UL 1479 standards and is tested for 4-hour fire resistance. Treating general firestopping applications, it is ideal for both combustible and non-combustible penetrations and expands to fill voids created by burning materials. BLOCKADE offers excellent adhesion to unprimed surfaces, flexibility, and easy application. It is paintable once cured, has low odor, and cleans up easily with water. The red color makes it easily identifiable as a firestop sealant. Suitable for interior use.
