DESCRIPTION

DAP All Purpose RTV 100% Silicone is a 100% silicone sealant that seals out drafts, water and moisture around windows, doors, siding, gutters, flashing, pipes, and vents. Use it indoors or outdoors anywhere you need a durable seal that holds up to weather exposure. This formula stays flexible to handle expansion and contraction without cracking or losing adhesion. Once cured, it forms a 100% waterproof and weatherproof seal. Allow 24 hours for the sealant to fully cure, and note that it will not cure in totally confined spaces. All Purpose RTV 100% Silicone can be applied around windows, doors, siding, gutters, and flashing, and it also works for sealing around pipes and vents. It resists mold and mildew after cure, and it is not paintable, so paint the substrate surface before applying the sealant. It complies with FDA 21 CFR Part 175.300 for indirect food contact, and it can be applied when surface temperatures are between -4°F to 120°F. Not recommended for continuous underwater use, filling butt joints, surface defects, tuck-pointing, chimneys, stovepipes, or fireplace applications, and avoid use on or near brass, copper, copper alloys, zinc, iron, galvanized metals, or other weak-acid-sensitive metals.
