Weldwood 0306/0307 HHR Spray Contact Adhesive is a high temperature adhesive that is sprayable and formulated specifically for professional and industrial use in plastic laminate fabrication. It forms strong, durable bonds that resist heat, water, and many household chemicals, making it ideal for demanding applications. This post-formable adhesive is ready-to-use without the need for dilution or thinning, ensuring consistent application properties. It provides an extended open time of up to 2 hours under standard ambient conditions, allowing for flexible assembly and positioning during installation. In cases where the adhesive film has over-dried prior to substrate bonding, reactivation can be achieved by applying a light secondary coat, which restores tack and facilitates effective adhesion without compromising bond integrity.Available in natural and red, it is suitable for bonding a wide range of materials including plastic laminates, metal, wood, veneer, particle board, gypsum board, and rigid foam. Commonly used in the production of countertops, furniture, cabinets, partitions, wall panels, and other laminated products. Technically speaking this product can be brushed, rolled and/or spray applied. Given the thinner viscosity (required for spray application), when applied by brush or roller, multiple coats may be required to achieve proper coverage and film thickness.
What is the minimum temperature this adhesive will work properly?
Surfaces to be bonded must be clean and dry. Adhesive, air, and surface temperatures must be at least 65°F (18°C).
