NEW FROM DAP®: SILICONE PLUS™ PREMIUM SILICONE RUBBER SEALANTS

Comprehensive Silicone Product Offering for Variety of Applications

BALTIMORE, MD (March 1, 2008) – DAP introduces the new inclusive line of premium Silicone Plus™ 100% Silicone Rubber Sealants.

This comprehensive product offering will provide enhanced solutions for a wide variety of applications, including Kitchen & Bath, Window & Door and Concrete & Masonry.

DAP® Silicone Plus™ Premium Silicone Rubber Sealants are formulated to create a long-lasting watertight and weatherproof seal with superior flexibility and adhesion to a variety of building materials. When cured, they are mold and mildew resistant and will not crack or shrink. Unlike acetoxy silicone sealants, DAP® Silicone Plus™ Premium Silicone Rubber Sealants are low in odor, which makes them easier to work with especially when it comes to indoor applications. Plus, they meet ASTM Specification C 920, Class 25.

The Kitchen & Bath Sealant, available in white, clear and almond, is ideal for sealing around tubs, sinks, showers, fixtures and repairing loose tiles. Use the white or clear Window & Door sealant for sealing around windows, doors, gutters, molding, siding and trim. The gray Concrete & Masonry sealant is ideal for filling and sealing cracks and gaps in concrete, masonry, foundations, patios and sidewalks.

DAP® Silicone Plus™ Premium Silicone Rubber Sealants are available in 10.1 fl. oz. cartridges and will retail for $5.39 to $5.97.
