CONCRETE REPAIR MADE EASY WITH DAP’S NEW CONCRETE PATCH IN A SQUEEZE TUBE
Great For Post-Winter Concrete Repairs
BALTIMORE, February 10, 2006 – This spring, DAP has made
repairing small cracks and breaks in concrete as easy as picking up a squeeze
tube of their new, easy-to-use 5.5 oz. Concrete Patch. After the thaw,
households across the nation will find many areas around the home – such as
driveways, patios, basement walls, steps and walkways – in need of patching and
repairing.
DAP Concrete Patch is a premium grade ready-mixed latex sealant formulated to
quickly fill and seal small cracks in concrete and masonry. It forms a
weather-resistant, watertight seal that helps prevent water and ice damage and
it resists cracking and crumbling. It dries to a light gray color similar to
new concrete and blends in with most types of masonry surfaces. DAP Concrete
Patch can be used for both interior and exterior applications.
Concrete Patch is durable, non-shrinking and, because it is latex based, cleans
up easily with water. It is paintable after two hours with most latex and
oil-based paints and is fully cured in 7-14 days. The convenient, easy-to-use
squeeze tube makes application a breeze by eliminating the need for a caulk gun
and it is ideal for consumers who only need a small amount for small repairs.
DAP’s new 5.5 oz. Concrete Patch will be available at Home Centers and Hardware
stores this spring and will retail for between $2.25 and $2.99. Concrete Patch
is also available in 1 quart and 1 gallon sizes.
