DAP Honored with Golden Hammer Committee Choice Award

Select Retailer Panel Recognizes Superior Total Category Approach

BALTIMORE (May 11, 2009) – DAP Products Inc. was awarded the prestigious "Committee Choice Award" for category management at the 25^th Annual Golden Hammer Awards in Las Vegas on Tuesday, May 5, 2009. A select panel of retailers bestowed the honor upon DAP for superiority in the company's total category management approach and service it provides its retail partners. John McLaughlin, President and CEO, accepted the award during the ceremony at the 2009 National Hardware Show.

Awarded to DAP among the entire list of Golden Hammer winners, this honor exemplifies the company's ability to maximize turns, margins and overall assortment productivity. In addition to The "Committee Choice Award" for category management, DAP accepted a second Golden Hammer Award in the Lumber Building Materials and Durables field for Caulks and Sealants, totaling eight Golden Hammer Awards this century based on peer-recognition of the company's excellence in innovation, quality, and business practices that deliver the highest performance standards.
